The Customize Column feature in MooseDesk allows you to personalize the ticket inbox by selecting and arranging the columns that best suit your workflow. Follow this guide to effectively customize the columns in your ticket view.
Accessing the Customize Column Feature #
Step 1: Locate the Customize Option #
- In the ticket inbox view, click on the More Options menu located in the top-right corner.
- Select Customize Columns from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Choose Columns #
Open the Column Selection Panel
A pop-up window will appear, displaying the available column options in search bar.
Select Your Columns
Choose up to 7 columns to display in your ticket inbox by checking the boxes next to the desired options.
Column options include:
- Ticket ID
- Ticket Title
- Customer
- Channel
- Assignee
- Last Message Time
- Action
- Status
- Priority
Required Columns: Certain columns, like Ticket ID and Ticket Title, are marked as required and cannot be deselected.
Step 3: Arrange Columns #
Reorder Your Columns:
- Drag and drop the selected columns in the list to reorder them based on your preference.
- The order you set here will reflect in your ticket inbox view.
Step 4: Save Your Customizations #
- Once you’re satisfied with your selections and arrangements, click Done to apply the changes.
- Your ticket inbox will update immediately to reflect the new column setup.
