What is deep link?  #

A deep link in MooseDesk allows you to create a special URL that directly opens specific parts of the widget.

You can add this link to a button or hyperlink text, which then acts as a trigger for users to quickly access the desired widget section.

Set up deep link in MooseDesk widget #

Step 1: Go to the Chat widget, then the Advanced tab

Step 2: Copy the default deep link.

You can also modify the deep link. Once you’ve made your changes, click Save and copy the new deep link.

Step 3: Add the deep link to the end of your URL

Step 4: Copy the URL, then add it to a button or hyperlink on your website to use as a trigger.

For example, you can set up a link to open the widget main page when clicking on the Get support button. 

After adding successfully, for example, when you click on the button Get support, it will pop up MooseDesk widget main page.
