In this manual, we will guide you on how to install and use the MooseDesk mobile app to seamlessly manage your conversations from your device, anytime and anywhere.
Install MooseDesk mobile app #
Step 1: In app dashboard, navigate to the install app banner or hover over the floating button on the left to find the install app option.

Note: The install app banner is also in the Inbox and Chat widget tabs, making it easy to access the installation guide.
Step 2: Click on ‘Install Now‘ in the app banner, or select the Install Mobile App option from the floating button

Step 3: Choose your device type: iOS or Android, then scan the QR code with your device.

Step 4: In your mobile browser settings, click on ‘Add to home screen‘
Every browser has the Add to Home Screen option, but its location varies. Here are detailed guides for common browsers on iOS and Android.
Safari (iOS device)
Click the Share icon , select ‘Add to Home Screen,’ and then click ‘Add’ to place it on your home screen.


Chrome (iOS device)
Click the Share icon


Chrome (Android device)
Click on icon


Note: We recommend using the browsers mentioned above to ensure a smooth installation process.
Once you add our mobile app to your home screen, it will look like this:


Log in to MooseDesk mobile app #
Step 1: On your mobile device, open our app and click on ‘Login to MooseDesk’
Step 2: Enter your login credentials and click ‘Log in’


You can find your login credentials in the email we sent to your Shopify store’s email address or in the onboarding ticket in our Inbox tab.


Step 3: Turn on notifications to receive alerts about new conversations and replies from your customers. A pop-up to enable notifications will appear right after you log in successfully.
