MooseDesk update 1.2.9 introduces significant improvements to our chat widget setting, ticket interface and powerful customer data sync capabilities with Shopify. Besides, we have also revamped UI for ticket detail according to Built For Shopify 2025 update.

Widget Translation: Break language barriers

Our widget now supports multiple languages, allowing you to customize every text element within your chat widget. From greetings to button text, you have complete control over the language displayed.

Language switcher settings

When enabling this toggle, you empower your customers to choose their preferred language right from the widget. Otherwise, you can also choose to auto-switch language based on your web visitor’s browser language. 

Translation

With this function, you can customize every piece of text in your widget for your desired language. This will ensure a consistent tone and brand voice across your entire website and widget.

Sync customer data to Shopify

With this new update, merchants can now enjoy two-way Customer Data Sync: from Shopify to MooseDesk and vice versa.

Bulk sync

Managing large customer databases is now easier than ever. With bulk sync, you can:

  • Ensure consistency across both platforms

Detailed Ticket UI Updated

In this update 1.2.9, our ticket detail UI has been revamped to align with Shopify’s 2025 design standards. As a result, this will create a more intuitive and efficient experience for your team.

Key UI Improvements include:

  • Personal Touch: User avatars now appear in the upper left corner of ticket details
  • Streamlined Actions: Quick-access controls for:
    • Team member assignment
    • Status updates
    • Tag management
  • Optimized Customer Information: Customer details and order history have been relocated to the upper right. Hence, it will provide instant access to crucial information while handling tickets
