What is ‘Business Hour’? #
‘Business Hour’ helps you to set your company’s hours of operation. This is the backbone and could affect many aspects, including:
- Operation time displayed in widget
- Auto-reply when out of business hours
- Future settings involving date and time
How to set business hours in MooseDesk? #
- Step 1: Navigate to Settings > General
- Step 2: In Date & Time > choose your Timezone
This step is crucial in helping you define the accurate timezone and display your support hours properly.
- Step 3: In Business Hours, choose either ‘Full-time support’ or ‘Set custom hours’
If you choose ‘Set custom hours’, you can edit your working hours for each day
- Step 4: With the ‘Set custom hours‘ option, you can set up auto-reply for non-business hours by turning on the toggle and entering your message.
- Step 5: Click “Save” in the Save bar on top of the page
